Ronan turned 1 this month!
This is his Ro-bot cake.
Tiny man loved him some cake.
He is still a mix of walking and crawling. Crawling is just too efficient to give up on just yet.
He does not have any words.
He will answer questions with a head nod or shake.
Wrestling is a favorite game. As is throwing (not just balls), pushing furniture, climbing on furniture, and dismantling whatever Molly happens to be playing with.
So there it is. Through no fault of my own, despite tons of gender neutral toys...I ended up with the girly-ist of girls and what would appear to be supreme ruler of all things boy.
He also has a delightful little temper.
He is so great at just playing happily and independently. As long as I'm sitting (on the floor) doing absolutely nothing but watching him play. The minute I try to get something done he clutches my legs with the greatest of screams. I'm also not allowed to sit (on the floor in the same room) and try to (1) talk to or do anything with Molly (2) use my phone or (3) read a book.
It's so cute.
Oh yes, and one more thing. I'm not allowed to go to the bathroom.
To be fair though, I think he just feels like he's missing out on a rousing game of Wresting-Around-With-Exposed-Pee-and-Poop. That's the typical game we play when we deal with his bathroom needs. It's not really a diaper change unless you have to hold the kid down with your leg!
Here's to year 1 Ro Dude!
