6 Months

Despite my tardiness with these pictures (and their poor quality), Ronan did turn 6 months this month.

He is really crawling.

He can easily push himself up to sitting.

He is trying to pull himself up on things.

First Teeth Brushing!

Now that we got those chompers in and he's eating some real food we starting teeth brushing.

Food

I think I somehow totally missed posting about food.

He started carrots and sweet potatoes before we moved and then since then (though I've been a little hit or miss depending on how much time I have to make it!) he's had zucchini, blueberries+spinach, peas, pears, banana, and watermelon.

Carrots are decently popular.

As is the blueberry+spinach combo

Peas on the other hand...not a favorite.

The Progression of Motion

So this guy is crazy.

Molly was sitting peacefully playing in a stationary location at this age.  She didn't have a glimmer of a crawl in her eye.  She waited until the mom-approved average age of 8 months to put her wheels in motion.

Ronan has been trying for months now.

These duck pictures were taken on May 25th.  At this point he could move forward a few feet over the course of many minutes.  Very uncoordinated.  At times moving backwards.

But he was...

Planking.

Rocking on knees.

And annoyed when he couldn't get where he wanted.

Keeping in mind...he COULD NOT SIT.

This was his best "sitting".

Fast forward a mere week later and his sitting was much improved.

And now.  One more week and he's Sitting Like A Champion Today.  He has improved his speed, purposeful direction, and coordination of motion exponentially.

He can push himself up to sitting from his hands and knees.

And today he tried to pull himself up to standing.  It ended up this weird severely angled planking against the couch which promptly turned into an "I toppled over onto my butt/back/head" kinda moment but,

he's doing things.

And I'm scared.

Rocking some 12 MONTHS PAJAMAS.  What?!?!
